Gilbert faced Hartsville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Indians blew past the Red Foxes 11-2. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by seven runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Gilbert and bumps their season record up to 25-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Hartsville, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-4.

As of now, neither Gilbert nor the Red Foxes have any future games scheduled.
