Volleyball Recap: Duluth East Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Duluth East can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Andover Huskies on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost four in a row.

While Duluth East ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 25-17.

When it comes to explaining why Duluth East lost, don't look at Evelyn Viney. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and seven assists.

Duluth East's loss dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Andover, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-12.

Duluth East does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Andover, they will venture away from home to challenge Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
