Baseball Recap: Foxborough Wins Going Away Against Martha's Vineyard Regional

Foxborough came out on top against Martha's Vineyard Regional on Sunday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Warriors put the hurt on the Vineyarders with a sharp 8-2 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Foxborough now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foxborough will square off against North Attleborough at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Rocketeers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Martha's Vineyard Regional, they will welcome Barnstable at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
