Basketball Recap: Oswego Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oswego can now relate to. They fell just short of the East Syracuse-Minoa Spartans by a score of 76-74 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Oswego lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Noah Bwalya, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was his 14th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Cam Adkinson, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 16 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Oswego dropped their record down to 12-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for East Syracuse-Minoa, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-8.

Oswego does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Syracuse-Minoa, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-51 loss against Nottingham on the 3rd.
