Softball Recap: McFarland Comes Up Short

McFarland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Evansville Blue Devils. That's two games in a row now that the Spartans have lost by exactly four runs.

McFarland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Evansville, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, McFarland will venture away from home to square off against Reedsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
