Soccer Recap: Brighton Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Brighton was not quite Erie's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Brighton have lost by just one goal.

Brighton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Erie, their win bumped their record up to 2-0-1.

Coming up, Brighton will host Eaglecrest at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Erie, they will venture away from home to challenge Mountain Range at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Erie will be up against Mountain Range's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.25 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
