Baseball Recap: Ignacio Comes Up Short

Ignacio lost against Monte Vista on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bobcats lost 14-2 to the Pirates. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ignacio saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ambrose V, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Ignacio now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Monte Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Ignacio didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-4 victory against Dove Creek on the 1st. As for Monte Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-1 win against Las Animas on the 1st.
