South Lamar had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Pickens Academy Pirates as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Stallions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

South Lamar not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Pickens Academy between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-19.

South Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Pickens Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Coming up, South Lamar will take on Sulligent at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pickens Academy, they will challenge Holy Spirit Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates are facing the Saints at the right time seeing as the Saints are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
