Sylmar had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Birmingham Patriots. The Spartans were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Patriots, so the Spartans were just returning the favor.

Sylmar's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Birmingham, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Sylmar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Venice on the 6th. As for Birmingham, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against St. Monica on the 6th.
