Last Tuesday, Providence-St. Mel was beaten by Loyola Academy 57-13. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Providence-St. Mel in their matchups with Loyola Academy: they've now lost five in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Robert Hughes Jr., who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Marmion had to settle for a 47-44 defeat against IC Catholic Prep on Friday.
