Cherokee Trail won the last time they faced Douglas County, and Alize Flores did her part to make sure it happened again. The Cougars walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Huskies on Tuesday with plenty of help from Flores, who had 16 digs and two aces. She has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last six times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-14, 26-24, 19-25, 25-14.

When it comes to explaining why Douglas County lost, don't look at Addi Bradford. Despite the final result, she had 22 digs and three aces.

Cherokee Trail has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Douglas County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
