Softball Recap: Cheney Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ridgeline two weeks ago, Cheney came back down to earth. The Blackhawks came up short against the University Titans on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Blackhawks have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Cheney's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for University, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Cheney will host Mead at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Blackhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for University, they will venture away from home to take on Gonzaga Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans are facing the Bullpups at the right time seeing as the Bullpups are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
