Basketball Recap: Brookville Takes a Loss

Brookville lost against Rustburg back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brookville Bees fell just short of the Rustburg Red Devils by a score of 47-44. That's two games in a row now that the Bees have lost by exactly three points.

Despite the loss, Brookville still got an impressive performance from Daniel Eubank, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Graves, who earned eight points and nine rebounds.

Brookville dropped their record down to 1-3 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Rustburg, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Brookville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-59 victory against Liberty on the 17th. As for Rustburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-53 win against Jefferson Forest on the 17th.
