Basketball Recap: Appoquinimink Takes a Loss

Appoquinimink was the 71-38 winner over Delcastle Technical when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Appoquinimink Jaguars were outmatched by the Delcastle Technical Cougars and fell 67-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Jaguars have suffered against the Cougars since February 17, 2017.

Appoquinimink's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Delcastle Technical, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Appoquinimink has already played their next contest, a 38-31 loss against Hodgson Vo-Tech on the 14th. As for Delcastle Technical, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars duke it out with the Wildcats at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
