Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Slinger). They never let the Waukesha South Blackshirts get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Slinger needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Slinger's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7-2. As for Waukesha South, they dropped their record down to 0-10-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Slinger will take on Whitefish Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitefish Bay will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Slinger surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waukesha South, they will challenge Brown Deer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
