Recap: Kimberly Bulldogs vs. Weiser Wolverines
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Kimberly Bulldogs, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of Weiser by a score of 35-32. Kimberly's loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.
Weiser had a senior duo take command as Jayden Walker rushed for 155 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries and Kaleb Grove rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Walker's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. Brock Spencer also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Kimberly's loss dropped their record down to 10-1. As for Weiser, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
Kimberly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Weiser will face off against Sugar-Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sugar-Salem has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 335 points over their last seven matchups.
