Football Game Preview: Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners vs. Basic Wolves

The Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners will head out to face off against the Basic Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Career Tech's defense has only allowed 9.5 points per game this season, so Basic's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Southeast Career Tech is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Palo Verde, who was ranked first at the time (Southeast Career Tech was ranked seventh). Southeast Career Tech took a 22-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of Palo Verde on Wednesday. The Roadrunners' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Basic). They blew past Silverado, posting a 57-13 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wolves needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Southeast Career Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Basic, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 11-7.
