Basketball Recap: New Albany Takes a Loss

New Albany was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Floyd Central Highlanders, falling 66-45. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-16.

New Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Floyd Central, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Albany will face off against Jeffersonville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Floyd Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Jennings County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
