Bonnabel is 6-1 against Chalmette since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Bonnabel Bruins will face off against the Chalmette Owls at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Bonnabel is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Louisiana's top teams: St. Paul's, who was ranked ninth at the time (Bonnabel was ranked 24th). Bonnabel lost 4-0 to St. Paul's on Monday. The Bruins haven't had much luck with Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, after a string of seven wins, Chalmette's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against Jesuit, falling 8-0.

Bonnabel's loss dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for Chalmette, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.

Bonnabel took their victory against Chalmette in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0. Will Bonnabel repeat their success, or does Chalmette have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
