Football Recap: Minden Crimson Tide vs. Southwood Cowboys
Minden won the last time they faced Southwood and Caylien Aubrey did his part to make sure it happened again. The Minden Crimson Tide strolled past the Southwood Cowboys with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 38-21 thanks in part to Aubrey, who rushed for 169 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per carry. Those 169 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Aubrey was just one part of a punishing run game: Minden was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 371 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 216 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.
