Volleyball Recap: Hagerty Huskies vs. West Orange Warriors

Hagerty suffered their biggest loss since March 27th on Wednesday. They came up short against the West Orange Warriors, falling 3-0. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Hagerty took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 28-26.

Gavin Miller paced Hagerty's offense, picking up eight kills. Miller got some help from Caden Houston and his 17 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Hagerty now has a losing record of 9-10. As for West Orange, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Hagerty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Crooms Academy on the 10th. As for West Orange, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Apopka on the 11th.
