Oak Grove waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They blew past the Montgomery Central Timberwolves 15-0. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by ten runs or more this season.

Isabelle Lawrence was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Lawrence was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Chloe Smith was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Harper Sugg, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Oak Grove was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .640. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive games.

Oak Grove's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Montgomery Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season.

Oak Grove will face off against Central Davidson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montgomery Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
