Basketball Recap: Tri-County Comes Up Short

Tri-County lost against Newman back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tri-County Penguins took a 47-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newman Fighting Cardinals.

Tri-County's loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Newman, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.

Tri-County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-20 defeat against Pittsville on the 28th. Newman has also already played their next game (against Northland Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
