Aurora waltzed into their matchup on Friday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Austintown-Fitch Falcons. For the Greenmen, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Falcons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2021.

Aurora got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emerson Spiesz out in front who had 21 digs and six assists. Spiesz has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played. Arabella Wetzel was another key player, getting ten digs.

Aurora's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Austintown-Fitch, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Aurora didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Pickerington Central on the 13th. As for Austintown-Fitch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Columbia on the 13th.
