Softball Recap: Newark Catholic Green Wave vs. Heath Bulldogs        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Newark Catholic gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by  an  11-1 margin over the Heath Bulldogs. For Newark Catholic, this counts as revenge for the   7-6 loss Heath walked away with the last time they faced one another  on April 9th.
  Maris Knowlton was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kylie Gibson, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Newark Catholic has  been performing  well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 14 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record  this season. As for Heath,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-5.
 Newark Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Utica at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Newark Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8  runs per game  this season. As for Heath, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Watkins Memorial at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
