With a playoff win on the line, Gloucester Catholic rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over Pope John XXIII. The win was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Braeden Lipoff and Guy Lynam did most of the damage at the plate: Lipoff went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Lynam got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jack Mustaro, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Gloucester Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Pope John XXIII, they moved to 12-12 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Gloucester Catholic nor Pope John XXIII have any future games scheduled.
