Softball Recap: 17 Straight Home Victories for Cedar Park Christian

Cedar Park Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Fife Trojans as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Isabela Stewart made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Cedar Park Christian got a big performance out of Shelby Southard, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Southard is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Adelaide Foster, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Cedar Park Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fife only posted an OBP of .278.
