Harmon dropped their record down to 7-7 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 5-0 to the Van Horn Falcons. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Harmon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chad Taylor, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple.

As for Van Horn, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games.

On Van Horn's side, the team relied heavily on Alex Coin, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits Coin has posted since April 3rd. The team also got some help courtesy of Bennett Oney-Myers, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harmon will take on Atchison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Van Horn, they will be playing at home against University Academy Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Gryphons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.27 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
