Recap: King's Christian Academy vs. Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights

King's Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell to Friendship Collegiate Academy 66-60. While losing is never fun, King's Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 122nd in Maryland, while Friendship Collegiate Academy is ranked 19th in District of Columbia).

Several King's Christian Academy players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Diallo Long, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jalen Waller, who scored 18 points.

King's Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Friendship Collegiate Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-14.

King's Christian Academy will be playing at home against The Living Water School at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. King's Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59.8 points per game this season. As for Friendship Collegiate Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Parkside at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Parkside has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 783 points over their last 11 games.
