Basketball Recap: Lynn English Takes a Loss

Lynn English was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost to the Catholic Memorial Knights at home by a 78-60 margin. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 170th, while the Knights are ranked 40th).

Lynn English's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Catholic Memorial, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-7.

Lynn English does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Catholic Memorial, they will venture away from home to take on Central Catholic at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Central Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Catholic Memorial likes a good challenge.
