Baseball Game Preview: Lawrence Academy Warriors vs. Northeast Academy Eagles

For the second straight game, Lawrence Academy will face off against Northeast Academy. Lawrence Academy will be playing at home against Northeast Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lawrence Academy has three straight victories, Northeast Academy has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Patrick Lundy made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. He has become a key player for Lawrence Academy: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise.

In other batting news, Lawrence Academy got a massive performance out of Hunter Eason, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Eason is becoming a predictor of Lawrence Academy's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).
