Apex Friendship had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 36-point drubbing they dealt East Chapel Hill on Tuesday. The Patriots really took it to the Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-30 win. With the Patriots ahead 56-15 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Despite the loss, East Chapel Hill still got an impressive performance from William Characklis, who went 5-for-11 en route to 13 points. Jacob Canady also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

The victory (which was Apex Friendship's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 70.3 points this season. As for East Chapel Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
