Basketball Recap: Mountain Pine Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Mountain Pine entered their game against Dierks on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mountain Pine Red Devils took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dierks Outlaws. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-54 back in December of 2024.

Mountain Pine's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-6. As for Dierks, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain Pine will face off against Spring Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dierks, they will take on Caddo Hills at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
