Even though the Key West Conchs scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, the Coral Reef Barracudas still came out on top. Coral Reef managed a 66-62 victory over the Conchs.

Coral Reef's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Yvon Mbenza led the charge by scoring 16 points. Nathaniel Wesley was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.

DeMarcus Deroche and James Osborne certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Deroche dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds, while Osborne scored 19 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Deroche has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kameron Roberts, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.

Coral Reef will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palmetto knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matches -- so hopefully the Barracudas like a good challenge.
