Volleyball Recap: Liberal Comes Up Short

Liberal had lost eight straight at home, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 5-21-3 to make it nine. They came up short against the Garden City Buffaloes, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat two weeks ago.

As for Garden City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-7. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Leading Garden City to victory were Kaylee McDonald and Natalie Brown. McDonald had seven digs and five aces, while Brown had ten digs and one assist. That's the most aces McDonald has posted over her last 14 matchups.

While Liberal had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
