Football Recap: Claymont Takes a Loss

If Claymont was feeling good fresh off their 43-3 takedown of Sandy Valley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs came up short against the Ridgewood Generals on Friday, falling 28-7. The Mustangs have struggled against the Generals recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Claymont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Ridgewood, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Coming up, Claymont will square off against Indian Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
