Volleyball Recap: Hanover Takes a Loss

Hanover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bermudian Springs Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Hanover took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-18.

Beatriz Proa Blanco paced Hanover's offense, picking up three kills. Proa Blanco got some help from Morgan Roberts and her nine assists.

Hanover's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Bermudian Springs, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hanover will square off against York County Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bermudian Springs, they will welcome Greencastle-Antrim at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
