Caledonia waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Lewiston-Altura Cardinals 13-2. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Avery Augedahl was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Elsa Blum, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Paizley Lange was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Caledonia lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Caledonia's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. As for Lewiston-Altura, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.
