Softball Recap: Lyle/Pacelli Comes Up Short

Lyle/Pacelli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 9-1 to Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 back in April.

Lyle/Pacelli's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-13.

Looking ahead, Lyle/Pacelli will venture away from home to square off against Spring Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 17-0 loss against Cleveland on the 12th.
