 Northwest Rankin put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Pearl Pirates onto the board and left with  a   13-0  victory. Northwest Rankin might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won nine matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Northwest Rankin got a  massive  performance out of  Madalyn Smith, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.  Brooke Smith was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.
 Northwest Rankin pushed their record up to 14-0 with that  win, which was their 23rd straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Pearl, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-7.
 Northwest Rankin will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Kosciusko at 1:00  p.m. Kosciusko will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last. As for Pearl, they will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Brandon at 6:30  p.m.
