Football Game Preview: Tyrone vs. Clearfield

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Clearfield. They will challenge Tyrone on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Tyrone will need to watch out since Clearfield have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.

Clearfield put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took their contest against Bellefonte by a conclusive 49-21 score. No one put up better numbers for Clearfield than senior Isaac Rumery, who brought his A game into the match. He passed for 266 yards and 5 touchdowns. Rumery has been a consistent playmaker for Clearfield as this was the 6th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, Tyrone took a serious blow against Bald Eagle Area, falling 0-35. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Tyrone.

Everything went Clearfield's way against Tyrone the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 35-7 win.
