Baseball Recap: Granite Bay Takes a Loss

Granite Bay blew Davis Sr. out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Davis Sr. got their revenge. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 4-2. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Jace Bystrowski made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Brown, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Granite Bay's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Davis Sr., they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6-1 record this season.

Granite Bay will square off against Archbishop Mitty at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davis Sr., they will challenge Sierra Pacific at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
