Football Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Franklin had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-4 to make it four. They came up short against the Ida B. Wells Guardians, falling 44-20. The Quakers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Guardians from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Franklin still got an impressive performance from Rj Hunter, who picked up 35 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 71 yards on only five carries.

As for Ida B. Wells, their win bumped their record up to 2-3. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their 12-point performance the contest before.

Ida B. Wells' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ivan Kos led the charge by rushing for 117 yards and a pair of scores on only eight carries. Colton Foster was another key player, rushing for 90 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.
