Basketball Recap: Rondout Valley Comes Up Short

Rondout Valley lost against Our Lady of Lourdes back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rondout Valley Ganders were beaten by the Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors 56-19. The contest marked the Ganders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Rondout Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Our Lady of Lourdes, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Rondout Valley will square off against Dover at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Our Lady of Lourdes, they will face off against Red Hook at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
