Basketball Recap: Kennewick Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kennewick can now relate to. They fell just short of the North Central Wolfpack by a score of 56-53 on Saturday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

North Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Issac Williams, who posted 15 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave Williams a new career-high in points. Makai Daniels was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards.

Kennewick's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for North Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Kennewick nor North Central have any future games scheduled.
