Softball Recap: Palatine Takes a Loss

Palatine was the 8-2 winner over Evanston when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 9-5 to the Wildkits on Saturday.

Palatine's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-1. As for Evanston, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-11.

Palatine wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Elmwood Park on the 3rd. As for Evanston, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-2 defeat against Glenbard East on the 3rd.
