Softball Recap: Morgan County Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Morgan County's offense. They came up short against the Bath County Wildcats on Monday, falling 18-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Morgan County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Bath County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Looking ahead, Morgan County will square off against Menifee County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bath County, they will head out on the road to take on Rowan County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight.
