Football Game Preview: Ogallala Indians vs. Alliance Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Ogallala is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Alliance a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Ogallala Indians will be playing at home against the Alliance Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Alliance took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Ogallala, who comes in off a win.

Ogallala is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 33-0 victory over Chase County. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Sawyer Smith was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 71 receiving yards. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ogallala was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 296 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Ogallala didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tai Le and Smith.

Meanwhile, Alliance played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 49-6 defeat at the hands of Sidney. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Ogallala's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Alliance, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything came up roses for Ogallala against Alliance when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 36-0 win. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
