Kennedy Catholic's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Monsignor Farrell on Thursday. The Gaels had just enough and edged out the Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Gaels have posted since April 9, 2024.

Duncan Siller looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lorenzo Jorge, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Ryan D'Ambrosio was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

The victory got Kennedy Catholic back to even at 3-3. As for Mt. St. Michael Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
