Basketball Recap: Ruston Comes Up Short

Ruston and Ouachita Parish squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Ruston had to settle for second. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Bearcats have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Ruston's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Ouachita Parish, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season.
